Following on from last year’s highly acclaimed singles ‘Get it Right’ and ‘Lovers By Surprise’, which received a massive response on the airwaves both in Ireland and internationally One Morning in August return with their highly anticipated new single 'A Wasted Love'.
The Southeast of Ireland based outfit once again teamed up with producer David Ayers for their latest release, their third release since joining forces with Cork independent label FIFA Records. 'A Wasted Love' is a song that deals with the extreme emotional intensity of unrequited love in a relationship, when the beholder is unable to see it, but it is clear to those around them.
Theirs is a sound that channels heart felt visceral hooks with beautiful, layered melodies and harmonies so there is little wonder why their David Ayers producedeponymous debut album was received with such widespread critical acclaim upon release.
The single will initially be released as a Bandcamp and minm exclusive on the 14th of Feb. The band are currently in the process of recording their second album again with David Ayers at the controls which will be released on FIFA Records later in 2022.

Μετά από τα πολύ αναγνωρισμένα σινγκλ του περασμένου έτους «Get it Right» και «Lovers By Surprise», τα οποία έλαβαν τεράστια ανταπόκριση στα ερτζιανά τόσο στην Ιρλανδία όσο και διεθνώς, το One Morning in August, επιστρέφουν με το πολυαναμενόμενο νέο τους single «A Wasted Love».
Το outfit με έδρα τη Νοτιοανατολική Ιρλανδία συνεργάστηκε για άλλη μια φορά με τον παραγωγό David Ayers για την τελευταία τους κυκλοφορία, την τρίτη τους κυκλοφορία από τότε που ένωσαν τις δυνάμεις τους με την ανεξάρτητη εταιρεία Cork, FIFA Records. Το «A Wasted Love» είναι ένα τραγούδι που πραγματεύεται την ακραία συναισθηματική ένταση της ανεκπλήρωτης αγάπης σε μια σχέση, όταν ο θεατής δεν μπορεί να το δει, αλλά είναι ξεκάθαρο στους γύρω του.
Ο δικός τους είναι ένας ήχος που διοχετεύει σπλαχνικούς γάντζους με όμορφες, πολυεπίπεδες μελωδίες και αρμονίες, οπότε δεν είναι καθόλου περίεργο γιατί το ομώνυμο ντεμπούτο άλμπουμ τους παραγωγής David Ayers έγινε δεκτό με τόσο ευρεία αποδοχή από τους κριτικούς κατά την κυκλοφορία.
Το σινγκλ θα κυκλοφορήσει αρχικά ως αποκλειστικό Bandcamp και minm στις 14 Φεβρουαρίου. Το συγκρότημα αυτή τη στιγμή βρίσκεται στη διαδικασία ηχογράφησης του δεύτερου άλμπουμ του ξανά με τον David Ayers στα χειριστήρια που θα κυκλοφορήσει στη FIFA Records αργότερα το 2022.
